306: Mind Your Mantras (Part 1 of 3)
I was recently listening to a podcast about embracing your imperfect self. In it, I learned that the saying,“How you do anything is how you do everything” is not actually very helpful to us. It hit me hard, especially since most of the people I talk to are feeling overwhelmed, scared, and frustrated right now.
I decided to dive into some sayings and mantras that may do more harm than good. During this three-part series, I’ll focus on the physical, emotional, and relational sayings that I believe need some serious editing.
Today I’m sharing five mantras regarding the physical body that need reframing, plus the one word I’d love to have removed from the English language if I could!
