29: Anna Vocino

This woman oozes positive energy and mindfulness while living a crazy busy Hollywood life. Anna Vocino is a professional comedian, voice over talent and hit podcaster who has achieved so much through her can-do attitude.  She was ton a fun to chat with and discuss how she is fitting in running and strength training while juggling many hats in Hollywood.

We discuss:

  • When and how she runs

  • How she strength trains (it's pretty cool) and uses activity as a way to connect with her husband

  • Working with Robin Williams and how he inspired her

  • How running enhances her life, running distances of 3 miles on average at a time

  • What she has to say about the Hollywood way of life and the stereotype she wants to change

  • Her journey of having Celiac disease

  • Giving up sugar and grains and how it's changed her life

  • The power of a mastermind group

  • Her can-do spirit and how it relates to her upcoming cookbook

  • What she eats before running in the morning

  • Sneak preview of the recipes that will be in her much anticipated cookbook, which is tentatively launching November 2014

Anna was really sweet after the interview and we talked shop about podcasting. She was answering questions left and right and offering her expertise. We talked and talked until her agent called her. I thought it was pretty cool that our conversation ended because “Holllywood” was calling.  :-)
