64: The Power of Habit & The Need to Believe
Some of my favorite ladies in the whole world come on the show today to talk about The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg. Joanne Ambrogi, physical therapist, yoga instructor, world-class athlete and massage therapist, joins Serena Marie, RD, and me to discuss this page-turner of a book.
We go in-depth to the key parts of a habit and discuss examples from the book and our own lives. Joanne even calls me out on a habit I am working on changing that I BELIEVE I can change. In fact, I was just successful with this habit change yesterday.
Serena Marie, RD, talks all things coconut oil and why it is good for us.
Our Runner of the Week is Holly Stevenson and she shares how she is “playing big” this year when it comes to running.
Serena and I discuss our experience with CW-X compression tights. Both of us felt we were given extra support and stability in our in our knees and hips thanks to the tights. In addition, we agreed that we liked how the tights looked on our bums and how the tights made us feel.
