281: Connecting to the Present
It can be so easy to let your mind run wild and catastrophize during this pandemic time. What history has shown us is for some people, they can make meaning out of a situation and it can propel them to living a life full of revelations about their thoughts, actions, and results.
Today’s guest on the podcast is Myra Goodman, who co wrote her father’s memoir, Quest for Eternal Sunshine, a Holocaust Survivor’s Journey from Darkness to Light. Mendek Rubin, Myra’s dad, not only survived a Nazi slave labor camp, he went on excel as an inventor, and went on his own journey from going from deep depression to inner joy.
