12 - Delaware Marathon Festival
The Delaware Half Marathon Festival is a wonderful event that truly encompasses the community. During this episode we dive in to the race and receive two points of view in addition to mine. Serena Marie, RD and I introduce the food of the week, which is bok choy. Simply steam your bok choy, which is a great source of calcium, and sprinkle some white sesame seeds, coconut amines (or gluten free tamari sauce), toasted sesame oil and you are good to go! You could also put raw bok choy in Asian salad to mix it up. Check out Serena Marie, RD for more information and recipes.
