248: Never Say Never and Gratitude
2019 is the year of experiments. Today is an experiment. Fellow certified applied positive psychology coach and runner, Emily Felt, joins me for the entire episode today. We talk psychology, running, and of course mindset. It wouldn’t be a short run episode without talking about mindset.
Emily and I share the following:
The shock of needing a hip replacement at 36 and what Emily recommends to younger people getting a hip replacement
Emily’s running journey before the surgery and after
The challenges of having a newborn baby and being on the crutches at the same time
How having an attitude of gratitude for food has helped Emily parent her daughter who has Prader Willi
Why to see the beauty in the hard stuff
Challenges are an opportunity to see something different and as a learning experience
Do you have a gratitude journal? If so, please share a picture on Insta or Twitter!
