70: Boston Marathon Recap 2015
What an amazing experience to be in Boston during Marathon weekend and Marathon Monday. Pure energy all around the city. It’s as if the entire Boston community is opening their arms wide to welcome the runners and spectators to their glorious city and marathon.
We loop back to hear from Nichole Bukowski, from Episode 23 share her 12th Boston Marathon experience. It was quite the journey and because of it, she is an even stronger runner thanks to a program called Balanced Athlete.
Next runner, is Jonathan Levitt, a first time Boston Marathon runner, and also huge fan of November Project. Jonathan shares why he chose what to wear, or should I say not wear and we really go in depth about why November Project is so amazing.
Angie and Trevor Spencer from Marathon Training Academy come back on the show to discuss Angie’s first Boston Marathon. It was surreal for her and she shares whether or not the experience matched her experience. Trevor talks about running the 5K and being a spectator of the marathon, just like Serena Marie, RD and me.
Serena and I banter for awhile about our experience during marathon weekend and if we recommend going to “bean town” to run the BAA 5K and be a spectator. We talk about our favorite memory of the trip, which may surprise you.
